The song Zebra by Beach house has a sad sound to it but is very catchy. Reminds me of a rainy day when I was younger for some reason. All of their music has a unique sound and feel. They changes my mood with each new sound. Hope you like them.

My sunglasses are a flee market steal..they will grow on you. Hopefully.

I have decided to try and be more adventurous in my style. My new linen pants by Quail are a new addition and I am excited to try different looks with these. Contrast is my favorite word in fashion. A tight pant goes great with a flowing top and visa versa.

Try and buy the top, pant, hat, or jewels that you say "I can't pull this off". FALSE anyone can pull anything off. Its all about the attitude and confidence you give off when you wear the item.

In the Flowers

Then we could be dancing and you'd smile and say 'I like this song'.
And when our eyes meet we will recognize nothings wrong.

In the Flowers by Animal Collective speaks for itself in this post. This song reminds me of 'Alice in Wonderland' for some reason...no idea why...but it puts me in a dreamlike state.

I love love LOVE the high waisted cut and the bow in the front of this dress. The pleating is my favorite embellishment and reminds me of a scene from the 1940's. Choosing pieces from various eras is never a bad idea. Where might you find these you ask? Vintage shops, Goodwills, flea markets and garage sales. I have slowly shown Haley the light on the matter of bargain hunting...although its a long process, it's worth it.
