Time to Wander

"Falling through a simple world,

nothing here to call my own"

"Time to Wander" by Gypsy & the Cat. A gemstone. This is an artist with a melodic sound combined with pensive lyrics. Buy it. That is all.

I know, I know, the outfit is a different side of me. I told you the high waisted pants would make an appearance, and here they are. This is a business rendition of the 70's style. I have added a hint of the 20's with the retro sunglass, making another appearance, and the pearl collared top, reminiscent of Jackie O.

Obviously I love the bow on the pants, and the frilling waist line. It is only appropriate to put a tighter fitting and plain top with these extravagant pants.

The asymmetrical heels are another touch that I love with this outfit. The pants are purposefully cut higher, allowing pumps or detailed shoes to be showcased.

There are more options for the high waisted phenomena but this is a creative idea for the young working professionals out there. Soon to come is another business-like combo.

Last Night At The Jetty

"Dreams that we once had.Didn't we have a good time?"

Panda Bear's new single "Last Night At The Jetty" its a lot slower than other Animal Collective songs. If you are unaware Panda Bear is just one of the band members of Animal Collective, Noah Lennox. Lennox (Panda Bear) uses beautiful harmonies throughout this slow song. If you like Animal Collective you will sure to like the sound of Panda Bear by himself.

Pair baggy sweaters with cut offs and leggings. Style it up with something more feminine like heels and some jewelry.

The colors of the sweater and shorts were too dark and masculine.. so I had to add a little color to spice it up. Thanks to Anthropologies Pin/Hair piece I was able to become a little more flirty and feminine.

I am off to Istanbul, Turkey next week..be on the look out for some Turkish posts!
