Cherub is a newer group that has made their way onto the music scene.  Composed of two hipsters and a lot of dance moves, this group keeps you grooving and gives you the extra 'pep in your step' when walking to work. 


I am predicting this name will be much more well known in the near future.


Since I have been absent for so long this post will be a double dose of wonderful music.

On the other end of the spectrum, Tennis is a group that sounds like it would be played at the local sock hop in the 1950's.  The song ''Marathon'' is a display of the group's unique poppy and melodic sound. I find them easy to listen to and a soothing album to put on during a nice summer day.

"Stare Into The Sun" by Grafitti6 is phenomenal. The song has a great old school sound to it with an upbeat chorus. Check it out.

A rainy day doesn't always call for a boring and for lack of a better word--wretched outfit. A sweater dress with a tailored rain coat--add some leggings and booties and whalah you have a fashionable rainy day outfit.

Our chateau in France was ridiculously gorgeous.

The gardens were incredible.

The new album by the Shins "Port Morrow" has finally been released. My favorite on the album is the song "Its Only Life". They still keep there distinct sound in each song but not to the point where you feel like all of the songs run together. Check it out.

The Louisiana band, Givers, gives me a similar feeling to the Belle Brigade. The song "Up Up Up" has harmonies that make you want to tap your feet and roll down the windows. You may have already heard them but if not give them a look.

A dreary day in London-- A focus point in ensembles can be a fun change with lots of color and prints...pick one fun piece and add black.
